As the 2025 crypto bull market unfolds, major assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum are soaring to new highs, however, several smaller altcoins remain stagnant. In response to this shifting market dynamic, a crypto YouTube channel, Altcoin Buzz, released a new altcoin investment strategy, aimed to navigate the possible altcoin season.
Host Maddie, proposed a $1,000 portfolio allocation across four carefully chosen altcoins, which he believes could maximize profits, with regards to strong fundamentals and real world adoption.
Big Caps Lead, Small Caps Lag
Maddie noted that Bitcoin has risen from $74,000 to $118,000 since April, marking a 59% gain. As of this press time, Bitcoin trades at $117,910, after reaching a new all-time high of $118,661 on July 10. Meanwhile, Ethereum has increased 87% in the same period, climbing from below $1,600 to over $3,000. However, most smaller altcoins have trended downward.
