A federal court in New York has toughened the sentence for Nicholas Truglia, a cybercriminal involved in a SIM swap attack in 2018, resulting in the theft of 23 million dollars from cryptocurrency investor Michael Terpin.
Terpin's statement:
"He thought he could keep the stolen cryptocurrency assets even after 10 years in prison. Now he will learn what it means to serve a longer sentence."
