The volume of liquidations exceeded 515 million dollars as Bitcoin reached a new high
On the night of July 10, 2025, Bitcoin set a new all-time high of 111,999 dollars. Against this backdrop, the volume of liquidations in the cryptocurrency futures market exceeded 515 million dollars in 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, positions of over 114,000 traders were closed. As a result, losses amounted to over 451 million dollars for long positions and about 64 million dollars for short positions. The major losses were associated with pairs involving Bitcoin and Ethereum, where liquidation amounts of about 231 million dollars and 141 million dollars were recorded, respectively.
Additionally, the largest liquidation amounting to 51.56 million dollars was recorded on the HTX cryptocurrency exchange. It is worth noting that in the morning of July 10, the first cryptocurrency slightly dropped and is trading above the 111,000 dollar mark.
