I have to praise the Shanghai government
It's so convenient to get things done, 90% can be completed on a mobile phone, just a few minutes on-site, and the attitude of the staff is as good as Taobao customer service, with smiles all the way, sweet as can be
In the past few years, dealing with services in the US and Canada has been almost like dealing with a dog
I never expected Shanghai to progress so quickly, especially under the devastation of the pandemic lockdown
Moreover, I found that the quality of the people in Shanghai has improved significantly
Yesterday, at the music fountain, the kids were playing in the water, and all the children spontaneously lined up, no crowding or pushing
I thought I could only see such scenes in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Japan in my lifetime, but I didn't expect to see it in Shanghai as well
The service level of the Hangzhou government is comparable to that of Shanghai, and the civil quality is probably equivalent to Shanghai in 2018
Nanjing is a bit behind, overall it might be equivalent to Shanghai's level in 2012, but it has improved since I left China, and the chaotic Huijing I remembered has also become civilized
So, Shanghai is not an exception in China; it should be the future of China
Those places that are 30 years behind, like Xi'an, Shenyang, Lanzhou... will eventually become as civilized as Shanghai
We need to give China time.
