Institutional investments in crypto continue to grow. Over the past week, $1.04 billion was invested in digital assets. This marks the 12th consecutive week of positive flow. The total assets under management (AUM) reached a new record of $188 billion.

The USA leads in inflows

The majority of the funds came from the USA — a net inflow of $1 billion. Next are Germany and Switzerland — $38.5 million and $33.7 million respectively. Meanwhile, investors in Canada and Brazil were more cautious, withdrawing $29.3 million and $9.7 million. This discrepancy between regions shows how differently market participants perceive the current situation.

Ethereum outpaces BTC in investor sentiment

The majority of funds are directed to Bitcoin $BTC — $790 million for the week. However, this is noticeably less than in the previous three weeks, when the figure remained at $1.5 billion. Analysts believe that the reason is the caution of investors amidst approaching historical highs.

Meanwhile, Ethereum is confidently gaining momentum. Over the week, it attracted $226 million and extended its inflow streak to 11 consecutive weeks. During this time, a total of $2.85 billion was invested in $ETH . Proportionally to the volume of assets, Ethereum even outperforms Bitcoin. The average weekly inflow into ETH is 1.6% of AUM, while Bitcoin's is only 0.8%.

Who leads in providers and assets

Among management companies, iShares is in the lead. Their funds attracted $436 million for the week. Next are Fidelity with $248 million and ARK 21Shares with $160 million. Meanwhile, Grayscale experienced an outflow of $46 million.

In terms of assets, BTC and ETH are expectedly leading. Solana added $21.6 million, and XRP added $10.6 million. At the same time, multi-asset products showed outflows — investors withdrew $12.4 million, indicating a more selective approach.

What to expect next?

Against the backdrop of accelerating inflows and growing interest in Ethereum, it becomes clear that institutional investors are strengthening their trust in digital assets. The bet on Ethereum as the foundation of future financial infrastructure is particularly noticeable. If the trend continues, the gap in assets under management between #ETH and #BTC may narrow in the coming weeks.
