Gate's Gaffe: Did We Just Get a Sneak Peek at Pump.Fun's Token? Crypto exchange Gate briefly published and then removed a webpage indicating a forthcoming token sale for pump.fun, which was scheduled for early Saturday morning. Earlier reports had suggested Pump. fun's plans to raise $1 billion at a $4 billion valuation and distribute revenue to token holders but the latest incident highlights the lack of official communication from the platform. A new challenger however, Letsbonk.fun, built with Raydium's LaunchLab, has recently surpassed pump.fun in revenue and briefly captured a larger share of the Solana launchpad market (61% of Solana launchpad market share yesterday compared to pump.fun’s 19%) but pump.fun could easily regain dominance by announcing a token airdrop.
