The publicly traded companies Semler Scientific and Metaplanet bought more #Bitcoin yesterday, thus increasing their already large holdings. Semler purchased 187 BTC for US$20 million. The Japanese investment firm Metaplanet acquired 2,205 BTC for nearly US$239 million. Semler now owns 4,636 BTC valued at over US$500 million, while Metaplanet has 15,555 BTC valued at nearly US$1.7 billion.
