I want Ethereum to win.
Brazil is exploring how blockchain can serve public goals:
- Cost reduction
- Faster transactions
- Less bureaucracy
Some sectors are more interested in building onchain secondary markets than in the CBDC itself. There’s already been a mini IPO in a sandbox.
A key question being asked:
Can blockchain offer investor protection on par with traditional finance?
Until that’s answered, tokenized securities will stay in pilot mode.
The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) is choosing caution, but it’s paying close attention to everything that’s unfolding.
Brazil has regulatory depth and institutional expertise.
Ethereum has the builders, the tech, and the global community.
This is an opportunity. Ethereum should take it.
As part of ETH Latam, we’re organizing the Company Roadshow Brazil, an activity for sponsors and investors to connect with those already building, and with institutions exploring real-world blockchain adoption.
My DMs are open.
