#DayTradingStrategy What is day trading?

Day trading is a short-term investment strategy that involves actively buying and selling securities within the same day, in order to capitalize on short-term price fluctuations.

Quick example: If you open a new position at 10 AM and close it at 12 PM on the same day, you have completed a day trade. However, if you close the same position the following morning, it will not be considered a day trade.

Day traders, or active traders, use technical analysis with one of the common trading strategies, such as momentum trading or contrarian trading.

A successful day trader does not choose any security and attempt to trade it; rather, all of their decisions are based on their strategy. A good strategy includes detailed rules that specify the type of securities to be traded, the time of trading, the chart patterns used for entry and exit, and when it is advisable to withdraw daily.
