#MuskAmericaParty #MuskAmericaParty Elon Musk announced on his platform "X" (formerly Twitter) on July 5-6, 2025, the establishment of the "America Party" as an alternative to the two-party system in the United States, in protest against what he described as a "one-party system" after President Trump signed the major spending bill on July 4.
The new party, according to Musk's plan, focuses on contesting limited and studied electoral battles in the winning seats in both the Senate and the House of Representatives (about 2-3 seats in the Senate and 8-10 districts in the House), becoming a decisive role in passing or rejecting controversial laws within the currently slim majorities in Congress.
A poll published by Musk on July 4 on "X" with the participation of more than 1.25 million users showed that about 65% support disengagement from the traditional party system, prompting him to officially announce the launch of the party under the slogan "Returning Freedom to You."
The "America Party" is expected to participate in the 2026 midterm elections, with the possibility of supporting and financing independent candidates or from the new party in favor of the party's agenda, which focuses on reducing public debt, minimizing government regulations, enhancing freedom of expression, and accelerating technological innovation.
