📦 #TrumpTariffs — The Return of Trade Wars?
Trump is once again shaking up the global market: new 25% tariffs on products from Japan, South Korea, and a number of other countries may come into effect on August 1. This is a continuation of the pressure strategy through tariffs, which have already caused inflation to rise, the dollar to weaken, and tension among U.S. allies.
The Federal Reserve explicitly states: due to tariffs, it is impossible to lower the rate — inflation is too high. Businesses are losing billions, and consumers are paying for it out of their pockets. Europe fears the loss of tens of thousands of jobs.
🔍 But all of this is also an element of the election game: the deadline has been moved to August to strengthen negotiating positions. It seems this is not about the economy, but rather a chess game with global stakes.
📉 The world is holding its breath. #TrumpReturnsTheEconomyToTheEraOfTariffs.
📆 Keeping an eye on August 1.
