The 60 largest bitcoin (BTC) treasury companies. Access: 03/07/2025

By far, the largest holder of bitcoin in the world is Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), an American Business Intelligence (BI) company founded by entrepreneur Michael Saylor.

↗️👆📈It is no coincidence: the company was the pioneer of this business strategy, starting to buy the currency back in 2020.

Five years later, acquisitions are still in full swing. In fact, the company just added another 4,980 BTC units to its portfolio this Monday (30), for approximately $531.9 million.

✨📊👑In total, Saylor's company holds 597,325 BTC units, valued at over $64 billion.

⚓Behind Strategy, the other three positions in the ranking are occupied by American companies focused on the blockchain ecosystem: Marathon Digital (MARA), Twenty One (CEP), and Riot Platforms (RIOT).

In fifth place, the Japanese company Metaplanet (3,350) has just joined, becoming the first public company in the country to invest in bitcoin.

🏪This is because this Monday (30), the Asian company bolstered its reserves by purchasing 1,005 bitcoins, bringing its total to 13,350 BTC — a value that, at current prices, corresponds to approximately $1.4 billion.
