Foresight News reports that the Bitcoin DeFi protocol Threshold Network has launched tBTC on the Sui network. tBTC is an ERC-20 token backed 1:1 by Bitcoin, aimed at supporting BTCFi within the Sui ecosystem. This integration allows users to mint tBTC on the Sui network, which is expected to add over $500 million in Bitcoin liquidity to the Sui network, with BTC-backed assets currently accounting for over 10% of the total value locked in the Sui ecosystem.
