#DayTradingStrategy
• Market Structure (Support/Resistance)
Identify levels where the price has repeatedly stopped (horizontal support/resistance) or trend lines defining a channel or wedge. Breakouts of such levels often lead to strong intraday movements.
• Volume Confirmation
Look for breakouts with volume above the average — this is a sign of institutional participation or larger players. High volume distinguishes real breakouts from false ones.
• VWAP (Volume-Weighted Average Price)
VWAP is the volume-weighted average price, calculated from the session open. If the price respects VWAP during a retest, it suggests “fair value” and confirms the strength of the move.
• Momentum (RSI or Stochastic RSI)
Use a short-term RSI (7–14) to assess overbought/oversold conditions. During retests, ideally, RSI exits extremes (30/70), confirming the continuation of the move.
