Traders on leading prediction markets are making increasingly optimistic bets that Bitcoin (BTC) will reach record highs by the end of 2025, with the overwhelming majority of odds indicating growth above $120,000.
Prediction markets demonstrate confidence in Bitcoin's price growth to $125K+
Prediction markets allow traders to buy and sell contracts related to the outcome of real events, with prices reflecting the perceived likelihood of those outcomes. P******t and K****i are the two leading platforms in this area, providing information on forecasts based on collective opinion on topics ranging from politics to cryptocurrency prices. Data from both prediction markets shows growing confidence in Bitcoin's potential value.
On K****i, traders currently estimate a 67% chance that Bitcoin will reach at least $125,000 by December 31, 2025—a significant increase in confidence by 10 percentage points. The chances of reaching $150,000 are 31%, while exceeding $160,000 is 23%, both showing moderate growth. Expectations for even higher targets are decreasing: 12% for $180,000, 8% for $200,000, 4% for $250,000, 3% for $300,000, and only 2% for $500,000.
On P******t, traders are exhibiting even stronger optimism in the near term. They estimate a 75% probability that Bitcoin will reach $120,000 or higher by the end of the year, with a 55% chance of reaching $130,000. The odds drop to 34% for the $150,000 target.
As on K****i, confidence sharply decreases for more ambitious goals: only 13% see $200,000, 7% see $250,000 and only 3% believe in Bitcoin at $1 million this year. It is critically important that only 5% expect a drop to $20,000 or below.
Data from both platforms consistently show that most traders' expectations are centered in the range of $120,000 to $150,000.
This concentration highlights market sentiments that are cautiously optimistic yet confident in significant growth potential.
Increasing probabilities, especially for targets of $125,000-$130,000, indicate a significant shift in traders' opinions compared to previous estimates.
