$BTC min. As reported by the pool developer CKPool Kon Colivas, a solo miner mined block 903,883 and received a reward of 3.173 BTC (about $350,000). The miner provided an average hash rate of 2.3 PH/s, which is only 0.00026% of the total hash rate of the first cryptocurrency network. The reward for mining the block was 3.125 BTC ($343,700), and the user also received 0.048 BTC ($5,239) from transaction fees. This is far from the first case where a solo miner has mined a block. Often, to increase their chances, such miners purchase additional power from various services. However, according to Colivas, in this case, the miner did not attract additional power and mined cryptocurrency with a stable hash rate of 2.3 PH/s.
