Today, the Paradise Gate of Pakpattan was opened. It will remain open for five days between Isha and Fajr.
Every day, 150,000 people will pass through this gate, who believe that whoever passes through this gate once will be forgiven all his sins. This is the gate of paradise.
In the Islamic world, this special facility and concession of forgiving sins has come to the hands and share of Pakistanis.
Out of the total doors of the three holy places of Muslims, the doors of Masjid al-Haram, the doors of Masjid al-Nabawi Sharif, the doors of Qiblah al-Bait al-Maqdis, none of the doors has this “blessing” that a person can just pass through it and be washed away from sins.
I am just wondering what the people of this region would have done before the thirteenth century to forgive sins?
In 2021, 27 people died due to crowding at this gate of Paradise, while in 2010, a suicide bomber also had the “honor” of going to Paradise himself by passing through the gate of Paradise, taking six people with him.
This is the only gate of Paradise where Punjab Police is stationed.
