Today, the Heavenly Gate of Pakpattan was opened. It will remain open for five days between Isha and Fajr.
Every day, one hundred and fifty thousand people will pass through this gate, who believe that whoever passes through this gate just once will have all their sins forgiven; this is the gate to paradise.
This special facility and privilege for forgiveness of sins has come into the hands and share of Pakistanis in the Islamic world.
The doors of the Sacred Mosque, the doors of the Prophet's Mosque, and the doors of the First Qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque, have not had the “blessing” that any of the doors among the total doors of the three sacred sites granted a person the opportunity to simply pass underneath and be cleansed of sins.
However, I am wondering what the people of this region did to seek forgiveness for their sins before the 13th century?
Due to the crowd at this heavenly gate, 27 people lost their lives in 2021, while in 2010, a suicide bomber also passed through the Gate of Paradise, taking six people with him, claiming to have attained the “honor” of going to paradise.
This is the only gate to paradise where the Punjab Police are stationed.
