#WalletConnect WCT on Solana: more speed and lower cost
The goal of bringing WCT to the Solana network is to improve the speed and reduce the cost of transactions, as well as to facilitate a smoother experience within the Solana ecosystem. This integration is also expected to lay the groundwork for future governance functions and strengthen the relationship with the on-chain community.
At the moment, staking and voting functions with WCT remain available only on OP Mainnet.
