Whales Are Cashing Out Ethereum with Massive Returns: One Made Exactly 149x Profit!
One of the early investors who participated in Ethereum's (ETH) ICO made a total profit of $55.6 million, achieving exactly 149 times the return.
An early investor in Ethereum (ETH) made headlines with a sale of 501 ETH from their wallet just 9 hours ago. During the initial GENESIS process when Ethereum first launched, the investor acquired a total of 16,000 ETH at a low price of $0.31. Later, in 2017, they also purchased an additional 804 ETH at $459.
Since April 2021, this investor has been gradually selling their assets, executing a total sale of 14,394 ETH and obtaining a total of $50.11 million at an average price of $3,482. The early investor still holds approximately 2,410 ETH ($5.85 million) in their wallet.
A Major Move After 3 Years
On the other hand, another Ethereum whale deposited 2,450 ETH ($5.94 million) into the Kraken exchange, which they had not moved for three years. This investor initially withdrew their assets from Kraken in September 2022 when the price of ETH was $1,305. By selling their ETH at the current price, the investor pocketed a total profit of $2.74 million.
Had the investor sold when Ethereum was at its peak, their potential profit could have reached $6.6 million. This move highlights the importance of long-term strategies among Ethereum whales.
