In response to the unfounded comment: Here is the official DOCUMENT from the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) dated July 1, 2025, which grants the accelerated approval of the proposed amendment to the NYSE Arca rule (Rule 8.500-E), allowing the listing and trading of shares of the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund LLC as Trust Units (qualifies as an ETF structure).
It was approved on an accelerated basis (“Order Granting Accelerated Approval”).
- The proposal allows the Grayscale fund to be listed and traded under the new definition of “Trust Units”.
- The definition of “Trust Units” has been expanded to include representations by indices or portfolios and allow issuance by LLCs (limited liability companies).
- This opens the door for funds with diversified digital assets, such as Grayscale’s, to be listed and traded more easily.
