Governor Ned Lamont has officially signed a new law that bans the state from investing in #Bitcoin or any virtual currencies.
Starting October 1, 2025:
🔹 The government cannot hold or buy crypto like $BTC or $ETH
🔹 Crypto won’t be accepted for taxes or payments.
🔹 New rules also bring tougher regulations for private crypto businesses.
This is a big move against state-level crypto adoption.
