This world is disappointing...
Why does no government want wealthy and independent people? Because as soon as a person feels financial freedom, they stop being afraid and obeying. They can no longer be easily manipulated, silenced, or forced to fulfill someone else's whims.
As soon as an app or platform appears that gives ordinary people a chance for a decent income — those who want to take it all under control immediately emerge. If they can't destroy it, then they definitely need to bring it under their control, making it serve a system where people remain slaves without the right to choose.
It hurts to realize that the world, instead of supporting and uplifting people, does everything to ensure they continue living in poverty and dependency.
I want to believe that one day we can together create something strong and just — and we won't let it be broken. Because the world should be for people, not for those who keep them on a leash.
