An old trader who has been liquidated 5 times only changed one action, resulting in stable profits for half a year!!!
Do you know?
Most people get liquidated not because their skills are lacking, but because they are too rigid.
One of my long-time followers has been liquidated 5 times, each time for the same reason:
"I thought it would go up/down again, so I held on a bit longer."
Every liquidation was based on gut feelings, and profit-taking was based on expectations.
Just like he said:
"I always thought 'it will pull back a bit more', and ended up buying at the peak."
I looked at his previous trading records and found a problem:
✅ His directional judgment on trades was okay, but
Opening positions relied on emotions, profit-taking relied on fantasy, and stop-loss relied on prayer.
I didn't teach him a complicated system; I just asked him to change one action:
"Stop-loss points should no longer be preset but dynamically judged based on key time points."
What does that mean?
It means don't preset a target like 'I’ll exit when I make 10%', but watch if the market enters a key wave's end.
For example:
Price touches daily resistance + volume decreases
A reverse engulfing occurs on the 15-minute or 1-hour chart
Multi-timeframe divergence
As long as these appear, regardless of how much profit is made, execute the profit-taking.
At first, he didn't understand and said:
"Isn't this going to make me earn less?"
I said:
"Your current problem isn't that you're earning too little; it's that you're making one profit and losing on three trades. You’re too greedy on profit-taking and too late on stop-losses."
As a result, after executing this for the first week, he exited trades at key points:
✅ Winning trades became 'stable'
✅ Stop-losses were no longer delayed
✅ Continuous losses were directly cut off
Since then, he stopped predicting prices and began waiting for signals, following the rhythm without greed, holding, or chasing.
Two months later, his account tripled.
Do you often:
Be in profit but greedily hold on
Start praying when it reverses
Clearly see the right direction but get shaken out
Always thinking about earning a bit more, only to get wiped out by a reversal
Then you might be like him, lacking not in skills but in a 'rhythm trigger point'.
