The first ETF in the United States supporting ETH and SOL staking is about to launch
The SEC has approved the first ETFs in the United States that offer exposure to cryptocurrency asset prices and staking yields simultaneously. REX Shares and Osprey Funds will launch ETH (ticker: ESK) and SOL (ticker: SSK) ETFs, operating under a C-Corp structure and staking a portion of the assets, with the yields distributed as dividends.
Staking rewards will be distributed after tax deductions within the fund. Such ETFs bypass traditional approval processes through clever legal structures. Both ETFs will be listed on Cboe BZX with a management fee of 0.75%. Meanwhile, companies like Invesco and Galaxy are also competing for approval of a spot SOL ETF.
