‼️ WazirX Restructuring Rescheduled to July 15 by Singapore Court

In a fresh development in the WazirX restructuring case, the Singapore High Court has rescheduled the hearing for further arguments in HC/SUM 940/2025 to July 15, 2025 at 7:30 AM IST (10:00 AM SGT).

A reserve date has been set for July 16, replacing the previously fixed dates of July 10–11.

This case is linked to a larger legal matter—HC/OA 1284/2024, focused on WazirX’s proposed Scheme of Arrangement. After the ₹2,000-crore hack in July 2024, the exchange is now trying to get court approval to move forward with its recovery and repayment plan.

The Court has directed the company to file a supplemental affidavit along with written submissions by July 4, 2025. It has also made it clear that it will not consider any documents, including emails, from other parties until further directions are issued. Essentially, the Court wants to review the company’s filings before taking the next step.

At the moment, there’s no clarity on who will be allowed to attend the July 15 hearing. WazirX has stated that it will share updates once the Court provides guidance on attendance protocols.

The July 15 hearing could be a turning point for WazirX. With the updated restructuring plan now under the court’s review, the outcome will likely decide whether the exchange gets a real chance to recover.

Things should become clearer after July 4, when the company files its revised affidavit and written submissions.
