🧵 Thread 29 – How to draw trend channels to improve your entries and exits on Binance 📈
Many traders only look at supports and resistances, but forget a powerful tool: trend channels.
Today you will learn to use them step by step.
Let's go with the thread! 👇
1️⃣ What is a trend channel?
Two parallel lines that follow the price movement:
🔸 Trend line
🔸 Parallel line (channel)
2️⃣ Types of channels:
📈 Bullish: the price rises between two ascending lines
📉 Bearish: the price falls between two descending lines
➖ Sideways: horizontal movement
3️⃣ How to draw it on Binance (TradingView):
1. Use the "Parallel Channel" tool
2. Mark two lows (bullish) or two highs (bearish)
3. Adjust the parallel to the other end of the price
4️⃣ What is a channel for?
✅ See buying and selling zones
✅ Improve entries on bounces
✅ Place stop loss outside the channel
✅ Detect possible breakouts
5️⃣ Basic strategy:
🔁 Buy when the price bounces at the base of the channel
⛔ Stop loss outside the channel
🎯 Take profit near the ceiling of the channel
6️⃣ What if it breaks?
A breakout with volume can indicate a trend change.
💡 Wait for the pullback to confirm.
7️⃣ Key advice:
Combine channels with RSI, moving averages, or other indicators.
Do not trade solely based on what you see in the channel.
