After a strong community reaction, MrBeast acknowledged the issue, promising to limit the face replacement feature to only users' own thumbnails. On June 27, 2025, he announced the complete removal of the tool from Viewstats, replacing it with support for real miniature artists. 'I want to support creators, not replace them,' he stated.
