Last year's annual report from China Merchants Bank showed that the number of customers was approximately 210 million. The average deposit per customer is 71,000 yuan.

Among them, 5.23 million customers had an average deposit of 2.33 million. The remaining 205 million customers had an average deposit of 13,000 yuan.

This means that 2.5% of the people hold 82% of the wealth.

And ten years ago, the same financial report from China Merchants Bank showed that 2.3% of the people held 75% of the wealth.

Wealth has become more concentrated.
