$RVN : A Blockchain Designed for 'Sending Things'
The core goal of RVN is singular: to efficiently and securely help you 'send things' and 'transfer things' on the chain. This 'thing' can be a digital collectible, a game item, a company equity certificate, or anything you want to represent with a token.
How did it come about?
It directly modified the source code of Bitcoin, inheriting Bitcoin's security and decentralized ledger model. But it made key changes:
Faster Block Time: Approximately 1 block every minute (compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes), improving transaction confirmation speed.
Focus on 'Sending Things': The core function is to allow you to easily create your own tokens (assets) and transfer them. This feature is built-in, not added later as a plugin.
Minimalism: No pre-mining, no ICO fundraising, no privileged class of master nodes, purely community-driven development. Launched cleanly in 2018.
What does it pursue?
Security First: The network must be resistant to attacks.
User Control: You have complete control over your assets.
Censorship Resistance: Designed to avoid single points of control as much as possible.
Simple and User-Friendly: Focused functionality, with relatively straightforward operations.
Globally Applicable: Anyone can use it, anywhere.
Community Culture:
The project was inspired by the raven in 'Game of Thrones' — delivering real information. What RVN aims to do is to accurately convey the truth of 'who owns what' on the blockchain, just like a raven.
In summary: RVN is a blockchain based on Bitcoin technology, but faster and more focused on 'creating and transferring digital assets'. It pursues security, decentralization, user autonomy, and develops through community power, aiming to become the 'raven' that conveys the truth of digital asset ownership.
