Now both large and small exchanges frequently add coins and even more frequently remove them. Coins, just like stocks, will die if you don't work hard; even if they become outdated, they will still die. Looking back, the once-popular anonymous coins can be said to be practically extinct, having mostly all perished. Anonymous coins that were born in 2014 shone brightly in 2017, but now only Dash (DASH) remains on major exchanges, with a market value of only 240 million. Monero (XMR), although it still has a large market value, has been completely delisted from major exchanges. What about Zcoin, Zclassic, New Economy Movement (XVG), and even the once-popular Grin (GRIN) from 2019? They have all become outdated; in the future, even the entire sector might disappear, and it won't matter how tightly you hold onto the leaders.

Closer to home, in the last bull market, the crazy metaverse also completely perished, with the leading AXS falling into hell.

Currently, 99% of all coins will die. In the 16 years since Bitcoin was born, so many altcoins have emerged, but only Litecoin is still alive. Back then, it was touted as Bitcoin's gold and Litecoin's silver, but the longer time goes on, the more likely Litecoin is to decline. The entire sector has fallen, so what does it matter who the leader is?

Trading coins is like trading stocks; it's about trading new ones rather than old ones. It’s not like gold, antiques, or paintings, which have thousands of years of consensus and are recognized for their value in any era. Both stocks and coins can become outdated, and it's basically impossible to have more than two bull markets before they go to zero and die. In 16 years in the crypto space, aside from Bitcoin and Ethereum, it’s hard to say what the future holds for Ripple. For public chains, aside from Ethereum, SOL and BNB are also hard to predict. If we extend the timeframe, ultimately only one or two public chains will survive. Only Bitcoin doesn't need technology anymore; it doesn’t need to prove itself. Even Ethereum, the pioneer of public chains, fears being eliminated by technology. Only Bitcoin remains relevant in the crypto space.

There’s nothing else worth holding onto for long.
