On June 24, President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian made an official statement about the end of the 12-day military conflict between Iran and Israel. In a message to the entire nation, he emphasized that the ceasefire agreement is now in effect, marking the end of a period of serious tension in the region.
According to Iranian state media, President Pezeshkian called this the result of 'national will', while asserting that Iran's retaliatory actions were to defend itself against attacks from Israel. He declared that the war ended with honor, and Tehran never instigates war but is ready to act when threatened.
The Iranian leader also stated that the goals pursued by Israel in the military campaign, particularly the attacks targeting Iran's nuclear infrastructure, have not achieved the expected results. According to him, Israel has 'paid a heavy price' for military action and cannot force Iran to concede through the use of force.
In a phone call the same day with the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohammed bin Zayed, Pezeshkian expressed his hope that Iran would not have to enter any wars in the future. He affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not pursue a nuclear weapons program but will continue to protect national interests through both military and diplomatic means if necessary.
The President of Iran emphasized that international issues need to be resolved through dialogue and negotiation, based on respect for sovereignty and international law. Tehran asserts its readiness to return to the negotiating table to resolve disagreements but will not accept imposed demands from outside.
I don't know if it's real or just a pump and dump trick in the market anymore.
