🔐 How to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Binance to protect your account?
📲 Using Google Authenticator
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication is an important and essential step to protect your account from hacking or phishing, even if someone steals your password.
Here are the detailed steps for activation:
Open the Binance app and go to your profile (top left)
Select "Security" > then click on "Enable Google Authenticator"
Download the Google Authenticator app from the Google Play Store or App Store
You will see a QR code or manual code – scan it or copy and paste it into the Google Authenticator app
The app will start showing a code that refreshes every 30 seconds
Enter the code shown to you in Binance to confirm activation
Keep the Backup key in a safe place to restore the account later if you lose your phone
⚠️ Do not share this code with anyone!
⚠️ Pay close attention: You will be given a Backup Key
🛑 This code is very, very important!
✔️ Save it in a safe place (notebook, encrypted USB, password saving app...)
❌ Do not keep it only on the phone because it may be lost or malfunction
❗Without this code, you will not be able to restore access to your account if you lose your phone or delete the app!
