Oil futures experienced a sharp decline on Tuesday after news of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel eased worries about potential supply and shipping interruptions in the Middle East.
The ICE Brent contract for August delivery traded at $69.76 per barrel as of 11:09 a.m. Moscow time, marking a 2.41% decrease from the previous session. Meanwhile, the August NYMEX WTI contract was priced at $66.85 per barrel, down 2.42% from Mondayās close.
