Strong Outflow of Bitcoin Spot ETF Last Week
According to SoSoValue data, during the week from June 16 to 20, Bitcoin spot ETF funds recorded a net capital outflow of up to $1.02 billion. This movement signifies notable volatility in cryptocurrency investor sentiment as digital assets face temporary withdrawal pressure.
BlackRock IBIT Leads in Inflow
Despite the overall trend of net outflows, the most prominent Bitcoin spot ETF in terms of inflows belongs to BlackRock with the IBIT fund. This ETF attracted a net capital inflow of $1.23 billion in just one week, raising the total accumulated capital to $51 billion. This momentum reflects strong confidence among institutional investors in holding Bitcoin through ETF products.
Bitwise BITB Continues to Grow Capital
The Bitwise BITB fund also showed positive appeal with a net inflow of $29.85 million last week. The total accumulated net capital value of BITB has reached $2.08 billion, reinforcing the fund's position in the Bitcoin spot ETF ecosystem.
Ark Invest ARKB Faces Capital Withdrawal Pressure
In contrast, the ARKB ETF fund issued by Ark Invest and 21Shares experienced the strongest net capital outflow, with $188 million withdrawn during the week. However, the total accumulated capital flow still reached $2.27 billion, indicating that part of the fund still attracts investors despite short-term pressures.
Overview of the Bitcoin Spot ETF Market
As of now, the total net asset value (AUM) of Bitcoin spot ETFs has reached $126.54 billion, accounting for about 6.14% of the total market capitalization of Bitcoin.
