Iran-supported militias are preparing to attack US bases in Iraq and possibly in Syria in response to US strikes on Iran.

This is reported by the New York Times, citing US intelligence officials.

"But for now, the groups are being restrained, and Iraqi authorities are doing everything they can to discourage the militias from taking action," a US representative said on Sunday," writes NYT.
