AS-Iran Heats Up, Rp11.1 Trillion Crypto Liquidated from Hundreds of Thousands of Traders

A total of 172,853 traders were liquidated with total losses of US$681.8 million or Rp11.1 trillion in the last 24 hours, with 87% coming from long positions. This occurred after the United States attacked Iran's main nuclear site on Sunday (22/06).

Ether suffered the largest losses with liquidations of US$282 million after the token dropped 6% to US$2,200. This was followed by Bitcoin with US$151 million.

Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin also experienced significant losses, amounting to more than US$22 million. Nevertheless, the crypto market is slowly recovering from the losses with Bitcoin holding at the level of US$102,500 after briefly falling below US$102,000. Then XRP rose slightly to US$2.07 from US$2.03.

Ethereum, as the most popular crypto with the largest losses, also began to rise to US$2,273 from US$2,230. Solana followed suit, rising to US$134 from US$132.05, and Dogecoin increased to US$1.561 despite having fallen to US$0.152.
