Traders on Polymarket have boosted the chances of a spot Cardano (ADA) ETF being approved to 79%, the highest level ever recorded on the platform. This increased confidence comes after Bloomberg analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart raised their estimates to a 90% chance of approval by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
This optimistic outlook follows signs of positive discussions between ETF issuers and regulators. Earlier this year, Grayscale, which manages Bitcoin and Ethereum funds, submitted an ETF proposal for Cardano to NYSE Arca. Analysts believe the ongoing talks between the SEC and these issuers suggest that the SEC may be becoming more open to altcoin ETFs.
