As the US Strikes Iran's Main Sites, Bitcoin Holds but Altcoins Bleed

The United States has dropped bombs on three major nuclear sites in Iran on Sunday (06/22), despite previously promising not to intervene in the conflict. The US's involvement in the Middle Eastern conflict has allowed Bitcoin to hold at the level of $102,000, while altcoins are suffering.

Ethereum has become the top 10 crypto that has experienced the most severe decline, falling 6.46% to $2,263 in 24 hours. This was followed by Cardano at 6.07% to $5,485, and Dogecoin at 5.81% to $0.1536.

Meanwhile, Solana dropped 4.11% to $134.05, and XRP fell slightly less than other cryptos, at 3.77% to $2.04 in the same period.

"This cannot be allowed to continue. There will be peace or there will be a tragedy for Iran, much greater than what we have witnessed over the last eight days. Remember, there are still many targets remaining," said United States President Donald Trump.

Trump is also preparing to launch more attacks. Therefore, the number one person in the US urged Iran to choose peace or the superpower will target other areas.

"Tonight is the hardest of all, so far, and perhaps the deadliest. If peace does not come quickly, we will reach other targets with precision, speed, and expertise. Most of them can be incapacitated in minutes," he continued.
