I struggled for a long time before deciding to publish this article.
This is not just a memory; it is the most painful experience I had in the crypto world.

In December 2023, I was robbed of 30 million dollars' worth of$SUI tokens.
A widely circulated event in the community—yes, I am that person.

That time was really tormenting. For an entire month, I was sleepless, anxious, and mentally disoriented; I didn't even have the strength to do anything.
I once sought assistance from the on-chain white hat @SlowMist_Team, facing various difficulties at the cross-chain bridge; I also reached out to officials from SUI and even contacted the$CETUS team.

This story is long, and today I will only talk about this part with Cetus.

【Why do I still trust Cetus?】

Although Cetus has also been attacked by hackers (with losses as high as 220 million), their actions and attitude

have rekindled my confidence in on-chain teams.
At that time, I had a portion of my assets staked in the 180-day locked NFT of xCETUS,

which surprisingly became my principal in a desperate situation.
Thanks to SUI's Move programming language, these assets were locked in non-transferable NFTs,

making it impossible for the hackers to steal.
I contacted the CETUS team again through SUI community members, and they used technical means,
Safely transfer my NFT to my designated new address.
This email negotiation took a week, but I can see that CETUS is truly helping me.

They are also dealing with a huge crisis themselves, yet they are still willing to allocate resources to assist an ordinary victim. I admire this attitude.
Cetus miraculously recovered 160 million in losses in the end.

This is undoubtedly the best outcome for all users.

Today I stand up just to tell everyone: I am back.

With the little principal that CETUS helped me preserve, I am revitalized and ready to fight in the crypto world again!

True trust is when someone pulls you up in the darkest moments.
