#PowellVsTrump Trump's DEMAND to LOWER INTEREST RATE!!
Trump has said that Powell would do a good job if he lowered the Fed's rate.
The Fed still maintains the benchmark interest rate in a range between 4.25 and 4.50% at the end of its two-day meeting; however.
Trump pointed out that "Jerome Powell should have lowered interest rates, like the ECB (European Central Bank), a long time ago, but he definitely should lower them now. Powell's firing cannot wait!"
The president also criticized Powell's management compared to the ECB's policies, which is expected to cut rates for the seventh time, from 2.5% to 2.25%.
