🇳🇴 Norway may impose a temporary ban on cryptocurrency mining as early as the fall of 2025
Authorities are considering a ban on the launch of new data centers that use energy-intensive technologies for mining.
The goal is to free up resources (electricity, network capacities, and space) for industry, AI, and useful digital services.
By July 1, mandatory registration of all data centers will be introduced in the country to assess the scale of the industry.
