The move came after the US Senate passed the GENIUS stablecoin bill 68-30 on Tuesday. The US stablecoin regulation measure has proceeded to the House for debate and a final vote.

Trump may urge the House to deliver the measure to his desk, which might increase TRON, the second-largest stablecoin by market capitalization behind Ethereum's 50.1% stake, according to DefiLlama.

Artemis also found that TRON was the most popular USDT payment network in May, followed by Ethereum and BNB Chain. In May, the blockchain completed $694.5 billion in USDT transactions, with whales accounting for $411 billion, CryptoQuant researchers said on June 12.

Binance drove most USDT trades on TRON. The crypto exchange handled $2 billion to $3 billion in USDT daily over the TRON network, accounting for roughly 65% of all on-chain USDT transactions on centralized exchanges.

SRM Entertainment, listed on Nasdaq, announced intentions to change its name to Tron Inc. and commence its TRON treasury strategy with $100 million in TRX. Additionally, TRON creator Justin Sun will advise the startup.

Sun courted US government officials. Sun said on Thursday that he met with Presidential Council of Advisors for Digital Assets Executive Director Bo Hines in an X post. He said the gathering discussed how the TRON network might promote US digital asset innovation.
