ETFs for Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin may soon get the green light in the US?

Two leading experts from #Bloomberg have made an attention-grabbing prediction: spot ETFs for altcoins like Solana, $XRP , and Dogecoin are almost certain to be approved by the SEC before the end of 2025, with a probability of up to 95%.

Other potential candidates like $ADA , Polkadot, $AAVE , and Hedera are also assessed to have a 90% chance of being approved. If this becomes a reality, it will be the next historic milestone on Wall Street, following the SEC's recent approval of spot ETFs for Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The success of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, especially BlackRock's IBIT which reached $70 billion in assets under management in record time, has set the stage for a new wave of ETFs.

However, many altcoins currently have significantly lower market capitalizations compared to BTC or ETH. For example, Polkadot (DOT) has a market cap of about $5.2 billion, while Bitcoin has surpassed $2 trillion. This raises some doubts that the new ETFs may not generate significant demand, except for prominent names like Solana, which is attracting attention from traditional investors.

Analysts believe that the CFTC's approval of futures markets for these altcoins and the SEC's proactive responses to applications are clear signs that the chances of approval are very high. Now, the question is only "when" and no longer "if."
