Blockchain company Ripple has issued an additional 14 million tokens on the Ethereum blockchain, according to a Friday update.
This is the largest number of tokens issued in a single day since April 25, according to the Ripple Stablecoin Tracker.
Ripple has released a total of 42 million RLUSD in June so far. Notably, all of these tokens were created on Ethereum, not on the XRP Ledger.
The total market capitalization of the stablecoin is now approaching $450 million, according to CoinGecko data.
As reported by U.Today, RLUSD has expanded its global presence by receiving key regulatory approval in Dubai earlier this month.
Ondo Finance has also launched U.S. Treasury bonds on the XRP Ledger, allowing qualified buyers to issue OUSG using the RLUSD stablecoin.
Additionally, Ripple has partnered with AlchemyPay to expand access to RLUSD by including hundreds of fiat payment methods like Visa and Apple Pay.
Meanwhile, Circle recently announced that USD Coin (USDC), the second-largest stablecoin, has added support for the XRP Ledger.
