When Elon Musk changed the name of Twitter to X, it was for a reason: the well-known entrepreneur wanted to turn this social network into a superapp. And it seems that it is closer than we imagined.
Elon Musk's users on X will soon be able to make investments or transactions on the social media platform, according to the CEO of the firm, Yaccarino, a measure to support the billionaire owner's vision of creating an "app for everything".
In an interview, Yaccarino said that the company was exploring the introduction of an X credit or debit card, which could arrive as soon as this year.
A superapp, or what Musk calls an "app for everything", has been described as the Swiss army knife of mobile applications, offering a set of services to users, such as messaging, social networking, payments, and e-commerce shopping.
