Crypto investor Mehdi Farooq had six wallets emptied after scammers lured him into a fake Zoom call. A supposed sound issue led to an app update that allowed attackers to breach his device.
Hypersphere co-founder Jack Purdy confirmed the hack, stating the fund’s assets were untouched.
