PANews, June 20 - According to The Block, data tracked by Jameson Lopp shows that another cryptocurrency-related kidnapping has occurred in France, marking the country's 10th known 'ransom attack' incident this year. The incident took place on Tuesday in the suburban area of Maisons-Alfort, southeast of Paris, where a 23-year-old man was kidnapped while on a business trip and was forced to call his partner, instructing her to put a Ledger hardware wallet containing private keys and 5,000 euros in cash into a bag and hand it over to the attackers. An anonymous source stated, 'The attackers used violence to force him to speak.' The victim's identity has not been confirmed, and after the cryptocurrency and cash were taken, he was released in the nearby town of Créteil.
