PANews, June 20 - According to Bitcoin.com, Brazil's Ministry of Justice and Public Security announced a contract bidding notice on June 20, planning to procure a cryptocurrency tracking software system. The software must support transaction monitoring for at least 12 mainstream blockchains, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, and must be able to expand to more blockchains in the future, as well as retrieve key data such as IP addresses, geographical locations, and wallet addresses. The system will be prioritized for deployment in the capitals of 15 states, with a contract period of 36 months. The Brazilian government has recently intensified its crackdown on cryptocurrency crimes, having launched 4 major special operations in the past year, involving multiple cases of money laundering and illegal cryptocurrency activities.
