My Positive Experience with WalletConnect

@WalletConnect

A few weeks ago, I tried WalletConnect and found it really practical. I connected my wallet to a dApp by scanning a QR code, and it was ready in seconds. I’m not a crypto expert, but it was so easy to pick up. It doesn’t ask for private keys, so it feels secure

🔒

. Why I Like It

It’s open-source, meaning the community can check the code, which builds trust. Knowing my private keys stay safe is a big plus. Impressive Stats

I read that WalletConnect has: 221M+ connections

🚀

600+ supported wallets

40,000+ supported projects

4.1M active users in 2024 (up 137%!)

The WCT Token

It launched on Binance Launchpool in April 2025, with 40M tokens (4% of the total) for those who staked BNB, FDUSD, or USDC. It’s trading at ~$0.38, with a high of $1.35. It’s an ERC-20 token on Optimism, used for governance and staking.

Quick Guide to Use It

Go to a dApp (e.g., PancakeSwap) and click “Connect Wallet.”

Select WalletConnect; a QR code will appear.

Open your wallet (like Trust Wallet), go to the WalletConnect section, and scan the QR.

Approve the connection in your wallet.

Done! You can interact with the dApp, but manually approve each transaction.

Disconnect when finished for extra security.
